He has successively served as deputy director of Dexing Copper Mine of Jiangxi Copper Group and general manager of Wushan copper molybdenum mine of Inner Mongolia of China Gold Group. He presided over the construction command of Yunnan Pulang project of China mining, and directed the construction and trial production of Peru copper project of Chinalco. He once served as vice president and chief engineer of China copper industry

Director of the Department of mineral processing engineering, Beijing University of science and technology. He is also a member of the mineral processing Committee of China metal society and a member of the national gold Standardization Technical Committee. It is mainly engaged in the teaching, research and promotion of high-efficiency and energy-saving crushing and grinding technology and equipment, crushing and grinding process strengthening and energy saving and consumption reduction, mineral processing technology and equipment, clean utilization of mineral resources in Colleges and universities, treatment and utilization of three wastes in mining industry.
